AEM5700 Silicone Quaternary Ammonium Salt
AEM5700 is a silicone quaternary ammonium antimicrobial and antifungal agent belonging to the cationic auxiliary category and benchmarked against Dow Corning 5700 (CAS: 27668-52-6). It effectively addresses the core shortcomings of DC51 such as poor compatibility, poor clarity and non-durable slip, and offers excellent application adaptability.

Scope of Application
- •Nonwoven wipes: antimicrobial and antifungal, more stable in storage, soft and skin-friendly, suitable for white wipes, reducing the risk of yellowing
- •White disposable bedding: suitable for bed sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases, etc., improving softness and maintaining whiteness
- •White knitwear: antimicrobial and antifungal, antistatic, reducing dust pickup and skin discomfort, and preserving the original color of the garment
- •Towel finishing: inhibits odors and mold growth, improves softness, and resists yellowing over long-term use
Usage Guide
Preparation of Aqueous Dispersion
Using a conventional emulsification process, mix and stir this product with an emulsifier and deionized water to prepare a stable aqueous dispersion
Preparation of Working Solution
Further dilute the prepared aqueous dispersion so that the concentration of AEM5700 in the working solution reaches 0.5%–1%
Applicable Processes
Mainly padding and spraying methods, compatible with conventional fabric finishing processes; operate according to the standard textile antimicrobial finishing procedure
