HY-518 Water-Based Polypropylene Sizing Agent
This product is a sizing agent specifically for thermoplastic short-cut carbon fiber/glass fiber, designed for melt blending and pelletizing with PP resin after short-cutting. It forms a dense, high-temperature-resistant protective film on the fiber surface, efficiently solving pelletizing challenges such as fuzzing and agglomeration of short-cut fibers, uneven dispersion in the PP matrix and weak interfacial bonding.

Application Scope
In-line sizing of continuous carbon fiber/glass fiber, or secondary impregnation treatment of short-cut fibers
Application Method
Compatible with conventional sizing processes such as dip coating and spraying, ensuring uniform coverage of the fiber surface
Dilution Method
Dilution with deionized water is recommended. Add it while stirring to ensure uniform distribution of the emulsion
Recommended Dosage
The recommended dry pickup is 0.8%-2.5% of the fiber weight (the specific dosage should be adjusted experimentally according to fiber fineness and target performance)
Drying Conditions
Recommended drying temperature 120℃-150℃ to ensure complete evaporation of moisture and form a complete, dense coating
Packaging, Storage & Transport
Packaging Specifications: 50KG, 200KG or 1000KG plastic drums
Storage Conditions: Store sealed in a cool, ventilated place at 5℃-35℃, avoiding direct sunlight or severe freezing
Shelf Life: 6 months in the original packaging
