HY-840 Organosilicone Wetting Agent
HY-840 is a highly efficient organosilicone wetting agent with a transparent liquid appearance and 100% solid content. It is soluble in water and remains transparent when dispersed in water. With low surface tension, it can effectively improve the wetting, spreading and penetration of liquids on substrate surfaces.

Usage Recommendations
Method of Addition
It is recommended to add it during formulation preparation; it can be added directly to the system and stirred evenly, or pre-diluted with water before addition
Recommended Dosage
For general waterborne coatings, inks, adhesives or surface treatment liquids, a preliminary test in the range of 0.05%-0.5% based on the total formulation weight is recommended; for systems with higher requirements for wetting, penetration or spreading, it can be adjusted appropriately according to the test results
Precautions
Avoid over-dosing during use. When the dosage is too high, it may affect the foam, recoatability, intercoat adhesion or coating film appearance of some systems, so sufficient small-scale verification before formal production is recommended
Packaging, Storage & Transportation
Packaging:25 kg, 50 kg and 200 kg plastic drums or as per customer requirements
Storage conditions:Store sealed in a cool, dry and ventilated place; avoid direct sunlight, high temperature, freezing and prolonged exposure to air. Recommended storage temperature 5-35°C
After opening:Reseal promptly to prevent moisture, dust or other impurities from entering the product
